Occupy Wall St. was started by Adbusters, a Vancouver based anti-consumerist magazine famous for their spoof ads. We the Sheeple started following suit and took it over as a leaderless revolution of various but communal requests.
Only together as one voice in solidarity can we make a difference. What started as comical button-pushing at the hipster-junkie liberalists waving balloons and shutting down bridges, stands beside and pledges allegience in the idea that change is upon us and a collective voice needs to be heard.
Occupy Occupy's mission is to educate, enrich, and empower ourselves and each other. We don't have to be Sheeple. We don't have to be 99% or 1%. We are individuals. Our futures, our happiness, our success lies in our own hands, and only we can stand up and make things right.
Violence is not the answer. Greed is not the answer. Making loud noises is not the answer. Stay in school. Go to work. Run your business. Save your family. Cherish your life. Plant a seed. Write a letter. Help a neighbor. Smell the roses. Pay it forward. Try harder. Push farther. Learn as much as possible. Help as much as you can.
Make a difference. Stand up for what you believe.
